Well, i would indeed have made one if i had a 100% correct explantion to this. And i strongly disagree about it "sucks" just because of no explantion. I have seen 100's of good exploits without any explantion.

Well, I'm not an exploit expert but why does it happen?

Currently "I assume" when you die from falling to death server is thinking that you are in "unknown zone? another,instance?" and when you try to release it checks nearest graveyard but as you disconnect right after you click release spirit it goes wtf where is he? cos server doesn't save your location, by one part you are somewhere else "on some other location". Iv tested this my friend. I did this exploit so when I spawned on graveyard he saw me there indeed, but as I kept going forward he told me over Skype that he is seeing me floating in air. So I'v mounted on mechano-hog and he tried to hop in, but every time as I moved I went more further away from him or even more in air. So with some luck I came to him but I couldn't see my "other" self. He jumped I went all the way to Tol Bard but he said I'm floating over sea trough blue thing :P. And when I dismounted It launched him back where he jumped. Well that's my explanation.

Yeah, i tryed this with one of my friends too. I saw he was falling trough the landscape like he was lagging foward while using noclip and yeah HE could see my unreal character, but i couldn't see hes. I will find some places where you can do this in kalimdor, northrend etc.. so stay tuned

Is it still working?

I tried multiple times:

Die in the Sundering.
Release Spirit and DC
Log back in
Resurrect.

And it didn't work.

Has anyone tried queueing up in a instance, or just enter one while in the second world while you are 'invincible' to see if it stays.

Yep, i tryed to enter BG and dungeons, it just unbugs you.

tried it on my main in the sundering and it worked nicely all i did was fly above the center.... dismount... die in the vortex... and release/dc, now if we could only find a way around the "Can't do that while moving" problem... im curious to see if fishboting open waters would be easier since no one can see you :P

Server think you are dead when you are not. So you can move but no fatighe, no fall damage (but also no players, no NPCs...) only map is loaded. So ... useless ^^

Untill you use hearthstone or any form of teleporation. Btw this is a great exploration tool, And i see more possibleties in the future. And i am pretty sure people doesn't find it useless. We are working on a way to GM island at the moment.

You need to die from falling down, or swimming down to your dead.
