How to use a proxy?

hey everyone,


i noticed all over this site that everyone claims that all scammers use a proxy. I for one have never used once since i honestly dont even know what that is or how to use it. Unless its the same thing as a proxy that u use at public librarys or schools to get onto sites that they dont allow (ex: Hide My Ass! Free Proxy - Free Web Proxy - Free Anonymous Browsing) then i dont know anyting about them

Use tor, may not be the fastest, but it is a very nice proxy, there's a guide on how to set it up in the scam section, search it.

Btw a proxy is something that hides or cloaks your IP which is like your street address for your computer.

Internet anonymity is a tricky thing. Due to it being a popular subject, theres alot of false information floating around from people that dont have a clue what theyre talking about.

The truth is that there is no way to remain completely hidden on the internet short of unplugging your ethernet cable and not going online. The trick is to maintain a level of anonymity so that it becomes impractical for you to be tracked down.

Since the above doesnt really help the OP, I would suggest using tor, resetting your IP address often, and if possible scamming on a public wireless hotspot that doesnt require verifiation. Use a separate mac address on your wireless card when you use the hotspot than the one that you use at home. Never give out personal information on the web, and even if you do, NEVER use it when scamming. Hope that helps.
