Easy Bloodsail Rep after the patch

Anyone know how to raise BB rep without losing bloodsail since the patch? Save Knot is no longer there and though people say the key still drops, in 5 runs of killing every ogre in DM I've seen not one key. The Gordok ogre quest also doesnt give rep as of now, and the giants quest and pirates in Tanaris/South of Ratchet are gone as well.

Little offtopic: Are there any ways to get Steamwheedle Cartel rep back up from hated without losing Bloodsail reputation? They removed DM and Feralas repeatable quests in 4.0.3a.

Yes, outside every steamwheedle cartel town there is a friendly goblin whom gives a repetable quest to turn in different mats liek cloth + ink/coal/water etc.

Also you can grind different types of mobs. The most common oce were pirates in tanaris and venture co. in stranglethorn, but i think they got removed in patch 4.0.3 (?)

The cloth quests outside the towns each award 500 rep, but also take away 500 Bloodsail rep.

It may be useful to note that the bruisers don't appear to give rep to exalted yet (as blizz have indicated will happen when talking about insane in the membrane). I killed an 85 bruiser with my paladin who is revered with bloodsail buccaneers and he was awarded no bloodsail rep.

I just found a workaround for a way to deliver the "Avast Ye, Scallywag" and "Avast Ye, Admiral!".
Have a friend pull the Fleet Master of the boat and make him run far so that the Fleet Master will loose interested and run back. While he's running back you can interact with him and deliver the quest (Before he reach his ship and phase out again).
Did this myself on my level 60 alt just now and it worked. Problem is that the quest "Avast Ye, Admiral!" is currently bugged, so that you can't get it from the questgiver. (Confirmed by GM) But this should be fixed soon.

Your an active remember and you don't realize this is not an exploit either... how sad. If its a quest, that anyone can pick up, and anyone can do. How is it an exploit. Jesus some of you guys are dumb asses. My little brother could have put this in the right section.

Hotfixed? Sure, guards doesn't give rep anymore, but the other NPCs does, like vendors and stuff. Thats how I got to friendly on my 60 twink atleast, and that was yesterday.

Had a friend pull the fleet master off the boat, he reset before he got the the plank to unphase. He also didnt have a quest to accept and Im honored with bloodsail.

He of course have to use a ability on him till he gets off the boat so that he won't loose intrest in him too early. I suggest a shaman and the ability Wind Shear.

He wouldnt give me a quest....I couldnt talk to him at all.

Read post #35. Clearly states that the quest is currently bugged, so you can't get it, and that this is confirmed by a GM.

As of 13th December, the quest should now be able to do and turn in. Just fly to the just outside Booty Bay during the phased event and the Fleet Master should be there and give you the quest.
Gained "Bloodsail Admiral" on my level 60 paladin twink this way! Thanks for the information that lead to this, very helpful for people that want something extraordinary for their alt/twink, or just want an easier time
