Dual Wield as Elemental

Have you all failed to realise that this has been around for ages?
This is the same as speccing into Enhancement (Or how ever you spell it) Getting duel weild.
Equipping two weapons.
The respeccing back to Elemental.

Not really. When you respecced, it 'broke' your offhand weapon, preventing any stats + enchants that were on it from benefiting you, and there wasn't a way to get them added back on without actually having the DW talent. Apparently with 4.0.1 though, you can get those stats back without the DW talent by forcing a loading screen by entering a different continent/instance.

Edit: I can confirm that this works. Specced enha, put on my OH, double embued earthliving, specced resto, got the broken weapon icon and had about 2840-ish bonus healing. Took a port from dal to org, weapon was no longer 'broken' and my healing went up to 2998.

*Shifty eyes* I have ideas for my warrior now.. edit: Doesn't work for 2 x 2h weapons for arms or 2 x 1h weapons for arms. Doubt using a 2h and a shield for prot will work either.

Please move this to elite, I don't want this fixed anytime soon.

Did anyone stop to think that you could just equip two ele weapons while specced in enh?

That way, you wouldn't have to have the weapon with agility. (Or whatever the hell you guys are arguing about)

there are no offhand caster weapons in the game. I've looked into that one before. All weapons that you are able to equip that have +SP are all Main Hand only weapons.

Confirmed Working. Tried this out on our Bane run tonight (used my Heroic Seducer that I normally PVP with)...and much to my surprise, Black Magic even proc'd off it O_o

There are no OH SP weapons worth mentioning, this has been the case so that any dual weild resto/ele would not happen. Also this is a visual bug as the stats dont work and the item will act as ''broken'' in reality, so it's as if you have nothing in that slot equipped.

Edit - dual weild is possible in cata for ele resto, there is no OH weapons to make this worth while.

I remember this dagger was a "one hand" item during a part of TBC, Maelstrom's Fury and I saw forum posts of shamans dual wielding them. Im cant remember for sure if they were enhancement specced at the moment or if they used this exploit.
