I recently saw a Paladin with a name like this,
His name was SteveULD212 or something ( was atleast steveUld and some numbers behind)

I asked him, but he dident reply :-/

Wait so if someone has your name when you transfer realms, you get this? I'm confused. :P

Here is how you do it (I just did it a few days ago on accident)

You server transfer and make sure your name is taken, you will be given a random name with numbers at the end and if you try to login you will be prompted to change it. Don't login.

Now you go do a paid race change on battle.net

Log back in and you'll be able to enter the game with the numbers in your name.

I did this completely on accident, however after a couple of hours of playing I logged out and back in and was prompted to change it again.

When you transfer servers and someone has your name, you're prompted to select a new name. If this ever worked, it was a long time ago. If it still works, you're missing details.

Alright, so im on Kazzak-EU Alliance side. I saw a DK named Ruumi-something-something, just like that name.

I would guess you are also from the same server as me and the same faction, I actually asked this guy how he got his name like this, all he told me was that WoW bugged out when the "Select-A-New-Name"-Window popped up... When I tried asking him if he could elaborate, he didnt reply...

This doesn't happen all the time. When I needed a Name change, i just had to change it, I didnt get a weird name.
