[PTR]Change content of bags

Just a simple exploit; if you copy your character to the PTR, the contents of bags will change. I tested this on the Mysterious Egg and the bag from Oculus, and they both changed. Ofcourse I can't say I'm 100% sure about the other bags, but it will most likely be the same for them..

The only thing you could do is looting flying mounts on the ptr and actually not getting them on live. What the?

This is not only useless but it can also be very discouraging.

So you copy your char, open bag in Live get Loot X.

But in PTR you open bag and get loot Y?

Yes maisteri. For example on retail you get some aged yolk from an egg, and on the ptr a protodrake comes from that egg. @martin; an exploit is an exploit, and yknow, there are people who care about the ptr.

i was recently on the ptr its o0nly good when theres new raid content usualy.. i went on to check the changes and its pretty much scum of wow lvl 5s who got an 80 on there so they dont feel fail and spam trade.. and people who cant afford wow.

I know a guy that quit wow for the same reason ). He was farming the drake from the egg for quite some time and he looted it on ptr, nerd rage+quit

and yes server transfer does reset the content. Also racechange and a server reset/patch but not sure on those

I am aware of this being an exploit but it's useless and as you can read on the header of the subforum and on the main page [NO "USELESS"] in the exploit forum.
Also in the pinned thread about the rules which apply here there is another statement that claims No useless threads..

As I said, it's not useless. Let's say this was for retail. I'm sure loads of people would be very happy about it. Now, imagine how the people who play PTR fulltime feel? Guess what, they'll be as happy as you would be happy if it was retail.

So, gtfo flaming if you dont have anything useful to say.

Faction Changes DO work as I did one and had gotten the chance to re-do my Hrandom for an extra 2 frosts. Whop de ****ing do, can only xfer once a month. WoW retail alone is enough for me so I dont bother with PTR but sure it might be useful for those that do, but seriously, how many of you play ptr? pretty much what darkriderking said sums it up

PTR servers are up for some weeks only and then taken down again. Everything on the PTR servers is then wiped out. How can you be happy with that? Another thing is that you need to have a char on live that you can copy as premades are offered only in 1 of 3 PTR patches and they have no bags which could contain items that could change.

And honestly, there are no people playing PTR fulltime. Don't make a fool of yourself. It's just for testing purpose and you don't have any advantages on live servers if you play there. So this is definitely useless. If there are people playing PTR fulltime who are using this and taking advantage in any kind of way then please show them to me and I will believe you. But as there aren't any I will remain unconvinced that this is useful in any way.
