Ive seen many posts about this but none mentioning how to avoid BOTH debuffs. Doing this lets you run any of the Frozen Hall instances as many times as you like. No saves (or few, see below), no repairs.
To start, dont use random instance finder. You are farming the hilt remember? So in specific check only the 3 forge, pit and halls instances. que up and wait for it to pop. Using the specific dungeon feature DOES NOT APPLY 15 MIN DEBUFF LIKE RANDOM DOES.
Go through just like normal. (A suggestion is to ask if people will be ok with clearing more trash in POS, some dont mind and it gives you more kills toward drop chance).
Now the way to not get saved is easy. And most people say the best way is to leave while dead, but that costs money in repairs. Best way to do it, leave group while in combat. Yep, that simple. So while the group pulls the boss, wait to enter combat and then leave group. Doing this will not give you the 15min Deserter debuff.
Do it all as many times as you want.
Some notes:
It may be a good idea to leave group on the pull BEFORE the boss. Reason being if you leave at the start of a fight, there is a possibility they will 4man it. In which case you get saved. Youll know your saved if suddenly you recieve emblems. Check your group. If your a DPS I absolutely recommend you leave on a trash pull right before the boss. Healers, make sure theres not someone who can heal even as offspec (priests, druids, shaman). Tanks, you are free to leave at any point during the boss fight and enjoy the fact that Garfrost is running around ROFLStomping your group.
