Remove Saurfang's Mark

I got this idea from a post I read in the dungeon's and raids WoW forums.

Basically any warlocks in the raid should soulstone certain pallies (preferably ret and healing pallies). The pallies soulstoned should then cast Divine Intervention on the targets that get Mark of the Fallen Champion. The pally will die but he will be soulstoned, while the person who was marked should have the mark removed while still surviving so that it doesn't heal Saurfang by 5%. I haven't confirmed this yet myself but I just thought I'd share it if it works.

im not sure if DI removes it but im almost posotive it would, also if a pally DIs with the mark on him it will NOT heal saurfang sence the mark didnt get the killing blow, warlocks can also hellfire to death and maybe it wont go off

The only way to remove the mark is to either Wipe or Kill Saurfang. Any sort of Brez (Ankh, Brez, SS) Will just bring the player back to life with the mark still on him.

Reading is hard. He said Saurfang's death removes the Mark of the Fallen Champion debuffs that are on your raid (this is true).

He never said if the pally got it to DI someone.... he said to DI the person who got it. So it has nothing to do with death removing the mark.

reading is difficult for you, let me clarify.

bubbles, Iceblock, Cloak, Invis, purge/cleanse/decurse or any player initiated buff/debuff removal mechanics do not affect this Mark.

or more simply, again, nothing but leaving the instance or killing the boss removes the Mark (and yes this includes any abilities i did not mention).
