Stars tears are 8 honor and they sell for 25 silver per stack. Better money than buying and reselling gems with honor.

75000honor / 12honor per stack = 6250

6250 * .25 = 1,562.50

Star's Sorrow stacks may be 12 honor however they sell for the same amount as the 8 honor level 70 Star's Tears that the OP named. His math is quite correct.

75,000/8 (honor per stack) = 9375

9375 * 0.25 = 2343.75

I tested this today, and it costs silver to buy it, it just doesn't show that it costs silver on the vendor window.
