Aquire the item Turkey Caller - Spell - World of Warcraft from the Pilgrim quests.

- Call your turkey
- Put down a Stoneclaw Totem - Spell - World of Warcraft
- Dismiss Totem.
- Turkey continues to hit u for 1hp.
- You gain constant water shield procs from the hits.

Is the Turkey killable? >> like an AoE would smite it?
Cause I can taunt critters to hit me for 1 damage on my warrior.

Yes but still useful for easy free mana in fights with not much aoe and has use in Pvp ofc

It's a good find but the practicality of it has to be very.. scripted or precise.

Well i give u a situation your in arena your playing some 2v2, ur partner is getting beat on by their dps ur avoiding cc on urself and trying to heal but ur running low on mana especially against a priest or druid healer...

As a shaman ur mana regen is pretty poor without water shield procs so u pop Turkey FTW and regen.


I can see it being less effective in a raid situation like u mentioned tho. U can always resummon every 2minutes anyway if the turkey is killed tho and u can gain 490+ mana like every 3seconds which is worth using.

You can only use certain items in arena. I'm betting you can't use this in arena.

Yeah, just a clever use of game mechanics

I'd imagine u'd have the sense to stab the turkey when your done gaining mana.

Ive used this quite frequently mainly just to quickly grab some mana back as a type of "mana gem" if u will. In addition u may remember a long while back that they patched camp-fires so they no longer tick burn dmg.... i can imagine that most probably one of the reasons was to prevent a use similar to this.

You can use this trick to gain Quick ,Easy Mana as a Shaman
