    Netherwing ledge aggressive?

Ok, im new here so please do tell me if i do something wrong in my post.

After you do the quest to become a fel orc on netherwing ledge fly towards the stronghold with all the dailies and just /reload.
All the mobs now become agressive and an attack icon comes up when you try to talk to them.

I havent yet tried attacking them because of the guards there, or knowing my luck if i do attack and kill them something with netherwing rep will go horribly wrong, however if someone wants to try please say what happens.

    Netherwing ledge aggressive?

I can think of a few places that testing this may lead to interesting effects.

For instance, when DKs enter SW/Org, you could skip the final quest if reloading the UI makes you friendly.

I had trouble getting NPCs to load at Hrogthar's Landing (an occasional phasing bug). I did a couple of reloads and it made it so that no NPCs spawned ANYWHERE. Had to get a GM to fix it. (The GM was quite funny and toyed with me a bit later.)

My guess is that /reload can do some funny things with phasing, either removing it or locking it in depending on the phasing script used. This probably depends in part on what the "natural" phased state is and how phasing for the area is loaded (ie. area triggers, quests, buffs, whether you're visible to everyone at other states or not, etc.)

Might also be worth toying with vehicle/jousting as these can affect what NPCs are visible in some cases or how they react to you.

BTW, the places where I'd expect this to really have a lingering effect might be with hunters.

For instance, the mounted bears in the pit at Brunnhildar Village are beasts. Could they be tamed? Even when they're hostile, you can't ordinarily go into combat with them, I think. But maybe you could if you do the daily where you enter the pit to fight with them on your own mounted bear and reload UI while in combat with one.

Or if a non-Hunter does that quest and the Hunter finds a way to target their party member's bear target with a set focus or something similar, so they can apply a tame beast.

How awesome would it be to have a pet polar bear mount with a mini-Vrykul rider?

Might also be useful in tinkering with the DK starting area to move between phases.

My gut says that the most interesting results probably come from grouping in a party with someone at a different phase and then reloading your UI while they're in combat.

This is just interesting on the surface but worth some R&D.

... gosh, im getting angry at people actually thinking you get unfriendly with them. Only their names go red, you can't attack or what so ever..

and NO, using /reload wouldn't mean you could skip the last part of the DK questchain..

Well, a DK engineer can use their MC cap on Stormwind/Org NPCs before completing the starting chain as long as their names are red even without being able to attack them directly. And they can then have their MCed pet attack other SW/Org NPCs.

So there are examples of things you can do with red name NPCs that you can't attack directly.

To the OP : you asked for us to tell you if you did anything wrong in your post,no you didnt.
You did exactly what this site is for,you posted something you found and most here appreciate it.

Even though it may not be a obvious exploit,it's things like this that get people thinking and before you know it somebody finds a way for it to be used in a very cool way.

Your getting rep from me for this.

p.s. pay no attention to the flamers, they arent happy until they make somebody miserable.
