Thank you guys, this is a repost, yes, but I maybe didnt state it too clear, but I wrote that this is a trick from last year and that it still works.

What about the Pumpkin army, or getting the head before the body regenerates? The dps on his head isn't too tough, if that's all you're doing, but you can't control the direction his head goes.

IMO - not even the best geared and best skilled wow player can kill HHM alone, even with this strategy. If I'm somehow wrong, then I still say the risk is too great, don't waste your summons.

did you even TRY this? if done right it's no problem soloing him with this strat. i did it on my lock just fine

I did it, as a protadin and a ret.

Solo'd as a Naxx geared Ret pally initially but failed.

[NOTE] if you try to solo but fail you lose your summons for the day.

Then i tried over the next few days as TOC geared Prot Pally as well as Ret in Prot Gear and was easily done.

Only tried cos i was bored and already have drake.

I'm giving +3 for this, mainly because i had the amazing amazing amazing amazing luck of getting the epic mount on my very first try soloing the headless horseman. This has been my week, also got PVP gear from VOA . Ty.

This is nice, useful and all, the only minus is that, you won't find a group (atleast it will be hard) for HH that day which means you lack 4 summons ^^
