Easy Venomhide Raptor Mount at 70+

This is my first attempt to give back to the community, so if this is a repost (which I doubt) then please disregard it.

I was leveling in Icemist Village and just happened to have Toxic Tolerance uncompleted in my quest log.
I found that you can get one or two splashes per mob at level 74 by attacking Anub'ar Slayers. I don't know why it happens,
but you can get the quest done ridiculously fast due to the large number or Slayers that spawn in the area.

Anyways, the quest that I mentioned is a prerequisite to getting the mount and can be obtained from Mor'vek in Un'goro as of the most recent patch.

The leveling guide that I'm using is Zygor's guide.

Erm? It takes a few mins to get the 20 splashes in ungoro crater itself. Why bother venturing all the way to northrend when you still have to get back to ungoro to complete the quest and take the next one in the chain ?

This is just the first quest.

On some servers it's nearly impossible to find a Venomsaur that isn't already occupied by someone. And even harder not to get ganked (or to have someone gank your venomsaur) while you are trying to get splashed.

seems i'm having difficulty with this... do you have to kill them to get spashed, or simpy attack them?

as i've put my lowest weapon skill on there, and attack but no spashes yet.

nevermind, its working better for me to actually kill the venomhides, cos theres no one in ungoro lol
