Making money off the Headless Horseman

Ok well all know that the HHM usually drops a pretty sweet EPICS, be it the head piece, or the dps ring. Or the 2 caster rings.

I dualbox and ran my alt in with me while we 5 manned the headless horseman (you can raid SM GY with 10 people), i wanted the healing ring for my pally when he is 70. This is when an idea came to me.

1) Go to trade channel and type
"WTS HHM Epics to lowby alts - sit in and watch while we kill HHM, and you get epic for when you are 70"

2) Set loot to master looter, and make up a set price for the item ( say 50g if it drops)

3) When the desired item drops from HHM, simply get the gold off teh lowby and give him his epic.

Lots of people have alts - and these epics are pretty nice, so plenty of people are willing to pay a small fee for such a nice item, heck they might be scrubs that fail at karazhan or heroics and this could be their first epic. If you can easily kill the HHM, you can make up to 200g / hr as a group due the the instance restart lockouts. If you charge more per epic you can make a killing. Remember not everyone dualboxes or has l33t friends.

Sorry to burst your bubble: but he drops no cloth helm, only the Headless Horseman Helmet, a fury/arms helmet. 40 strength, 46 staimna, 3 sockets, 30 crit-rating. ^^ Godly helmet. He drops a spelldamage ring, healing and DPS ring also.

He does drop a cloth helm, it has no lvl requirement. It is a permanent pumpkin head and i have it on my 19 twink.

As far as i remember SM is lvl 20+ to enter. Unless they changed it of course.

Yes, because that's when I go into sm for power lvling.
Unless, they changed it, but of course it's always a possibility.

Yep its lvl 20 minimum, i tried getting the dagger from GY at 19 but no dice
