Change Email with SQ?

is it possible to change an email of an account, with just the sq answer?

As the guy above said. If you could change email by only useing Secret Answer it would be easy to change emails.

most likely his pass for his WoW account is the same if not just send him a hotmail phisher or whatever email he uses

You might be able to depending on the mood of the blizzard rep you speak to.

I once got the email changed without even knowing the original email address attached to the account, and apparently the last name I gave him was "A little bit different than the one listed". The rep told me he was going to be nice and do me a favor, and that it was only a one time thing.

He did ask for the cdkeys and sq/a though.

Immediately after this the account got locked and I received the whole "reason to believe your account has been accessed by a third party, etc,etc fax us an ID".

BUT, in spite of all the trouble, the email did get changed to the one I wanted it to

If you're US, you can get the email changed over the phone just by knowing the first name, last name, username, and SQA. You do not need to know the current email on the account. If you do though, that can be helpful. It is possible a rep will ask you for the current email, but you can just say that it's very old and you've forgotten it. It's doubtful they'll get suspicious, but if they do, just call up again and get a different rep.

You DO need the last name, though.

Why do I even bother helping people in the Scams Help forum when 3-5+ people will get to the thread before me, and almost all of them will give incorrect answers?

Because it's fun ^^ meh but the only thing that irritates me is that they won't say if it is for EU or US....if they want help they can at least say for what type of account it is imo.

But to answer the OP question, no it isn't possible to change the email with only SQA. I just answer it from my perspective...
