you get the same effect if you stand in the place where a wall should be (but was destroyed) and chill there until the battle starts. the wall forms around you, and bam, you can walk around inside it.

No, when it gets destroyed you will get killed. And it doesn't matter what wall it is because if a wall was destroyed before it will most likely get destroyed again, so no it will not get the same effect like the 24/7 AFK spot

Then if you don't have a warlock or warrior friend just destroy an east or west wall (which never gets destroyed) and then wait for it to rebuild.
