BoP's - Another way to low lv loot?

Ok this is just a theory so far but someone may be able to take it further.

Ok so i have 2 alts on same server but also using same wow account, i been trying to find a way to kill a boss with my 70 and loot with my 30. So far ive been able to party both alts one offline and one online in the same group and have both inside the same instance.

In fact if im fast enough logging i can actually SEE my other alt stood next to me when i log in (for a few secs).

The way i did this is to get a friend to inv Alt 1 to group (friend being the leader), i then End task WoW.exe (ctrl+alt+del end task) and log into wow again this time logging on alt. Get the friend to inv my 2nd alt and i now have a party with my friend, alt 1 offline and alt 2 online.

I tried the easy set loot Free for all and kill with alt1 log to alt 2 and loot, but that didnt work. I was thiking mayby some lag creation on alt1 while alt1 is killing may be enough to log in alt 2 so alt 1 is actually still fighting while alt 2 is there.

I hope this all makes sense but if someone could crack this we could TECHNICALLY loot some BoP blues (that have no level requirement, even some epix!) with any lv character (that can get in that instance).

Anyway i know this is only part done so pls dont flame

Speed Logging Tips:

1) Have 2 copies of wow open, your active copy and one on the login screen (saves around 10 seconds loadign times)
2) Dusable all mods on both alts accounts, annoying but saves a ton of load screen time
3) End task acts like a disconnect rather than a logout, this means u have a short time after u kill your active copy before your alt will ACTUALLY log out

And where, my friend, do you find any bleu / epic items around the whole wide world, that is a loot, and has no lvl requirements? Only place that is is from the raven boss that drops that lvl requireless trinket.

Way to do correctly- Have a friend invite both your characters, then open two WoW Launchers and log onto Alt 1 (the high level) and type in your user name and password on the other launcher but do not log in yet. Bring the mob down to low health on Alt 1 then put some DoTs on him. CNTRL, ALT, DELETE, and end task WoW.exe, then go to the second WoW.exe with all your info typed in already, just hit log in and the dots should kill him a few seconds after you log in.

ok i was doing this for a LONG time in WC , SFK and BFD for a lvl 29 twink. thats is before i bought a second account and transferred my lvl70 ....

heres what u do.

alt A = lvl70
alt B = lowbie

run wow in windowed mode and open up wow in 2 different windows

*run wow in windowed mode (via video options)
*start a group with someone (anyone) get alt A invited
*press alt f4 (logout) and relog with alt B
*get alt B invited you now have both alts in a group
*run alt A to instance portal then alt f4
*run alt b to instance portal, then alt f4
*relog alt A and use him/her to clear way to first boss *do not attack*
*alt f4 log in alt B and run him/her to the boss, if possible attack boss by using a way in which u will survive the longest, ie hunter/lock pets in first, warrior def stance priest shield up and pray.
*be very quick and alt f4 log in Alt A and hopefully u will see alt B attacking boss, down it before alt B gets logged then you are free to loot. be aware tho, alt B MUST be online when boss drops otherwise you cant loot.

*if u have trouble surviving, use alt A to get boss to minimal health, alt F4 and use alt B to finish him off

then rinse and repeat as far as u want

Its easier than what Fishforpresident says:

1) Get high lvl and low lvl to the same spot
2) log on low lvl
3) d/c and log on high lvl
4) kill boss
5) log on Low lvl and loot


this i working because when you d/c it takes lik 5min or so before you go offline.

ALL instance drops have lvl req. now if you could find a way to mail bop quest items to lowbie twinks, imagine lvl 1 in Bg with lvl 65 quality mail. exactly.

im 90% sure that the looter (lowbie) must be online when boss dies, and from pressing alt f4 you have 30 sec max.

this may have changed in the past few months as i dont need to do this anymore, i have a 70 rogue on a seperate account to twink my alts

You can't 'get a friend' every moment you're playing the game.
This allows you to simply run yourself through an instance.


If you still don't get it, maybe one word should clear it up:

by using the alt f4 trick and being very quick logging in it is possible to start a group yourself, im sure of it.

if not then im sorry but it was a long time ago i did this.
