Warlock Hellfire Exploit

Found this out while farming in DM the other day, but if you sac your voidwalker to get the shield, if you cast hellfire, you will suffer no health deduction. Granted it will hammer on your shield, but hey, it's free Hellfire (this probably goes for all other shielding capabilities, like grouping w/ a priest and whatnot, just something to think about)

Actually your wrong. Shields arent suppose to absorb hellfire damage.

I believe they introduced magic abosorbtion in the last patch with shields other than priest shield.. (mana, void, etcc...)

You can equip a shield to take less melee damage!! if your class can use shields, that is.

working as intended, also the fire resistance effect also applies to damage recieved to the warlock, so ofc if u have loads of FR ur more likely to take less damage.

This is indeed working as intended, however it is a creative application of the voidwalker shield many would not have found left to their own devices.
Therefore, VERY good post, worth a read, and useful to Locks!

i swear, you ****ing idiots need to stop flaming people that are offering tips not everyone knows. it seems to me like most of you are just talking shit to get your post counts up, but it's at the expense of someone who feels they could actually lend a hand to the average WoW player. nobody gives a shit if you're a 733t player and know every damn thing there is to know about WoW. shut the hell up and let the people that want to learn browse these forums and see if these exploits are working and confirmed. these threads are here to discuss the tips and tricks, not the credibility of the poster.
