Warlock + Critter Exploit

For those of you who don't play warlocks, they have a talent deep in the destruction tree called Backlash.

Increases your critical strike chance with spells by an additional 3% and gives you a 25% chance when hit by a physical attack to reduce the cast time of your next Shadow Bolt or Incinerate spell by 100%. This effect lasts 8 sec and will not occur more than once every 8 seconds.

There are critters everywhere in instances. If you were to kite some to you, and let them attack you during the boss, you could potentially be shooting off an instant cast shadowbolt every 8 seconds.

I doubt a critter will actually HIT you at lvl 70, i do suppose it requires damage right?

Just make sure it's behind you, and you'll never dodge it.

If you have enough of them, I'm sure you'll get hit pleanty.

It might work, but if it does, you will also get spell interuption on you casting spells like incinerate and the not instant shadowbolts, and your dps will drop rather than get higher.

In my experiances (<--spelling), on my 44 hunter, I only dodged about HALF of the attacks that i get when I train on the rats in the Tram for weapon skill ups....so im not sure how often you'll dodge em

just like Sym said, make sure they are behind you, you will NEVER be able to dodge :P

That DOESNT mean they will miss you or you will parry :P

l8flip you dont have to cast because they are instant casts, so meanwhile waiting for it to proc, just dot the mob with instant casts.

Actually, destruction is the specc that can push out the most dps in f.x. instances, assuming you go 21 in demo, and got the gear to support it. x)

0 21 40 is a good specc for dps. if you have the gear. 41 0 20 is the same dmg, but better dmg with low gear.
