Get Attention at the Argent Tournament

Hey, everyone. Seeing as how the Argent Tournament mounted combat is gear independent, it opens the way for some cosmetic attention grabbing. (For instance, you sacrifice nothing by using the Orb of Deception on the Tournament Grounds.)

However, there are a couple of things you can do here that can't ordinarily be done by attention seekers:

Hot Draenei Mounting Action



Normally, the effect from the Brazier of Dancing Flames breaks when you move or stop dancing. However, because of the way combat mount mechanics work, your character can keep dancing away and never technically "moves" because it's your mount that does the moving.

Just mount your tournament mount, target the Brazier of Dancing Flames and type /dance while mounted. Your character will be transformed and you can freely move and joust while still dancing and still transformed. The effect lasts three minutes but should be good for making you the center of attention.



Also: The Carved Ogre Idol is NOT intended to allow mounting while shapeshifted. You can't take taxis and mounting breaks the dis*****. However, you can joust while dis*****d in this form, which makes for some really fun screenshots. Sure it uses a trinket slot but since your mount is doing the fighting, your personal stats don't matter. Enjoy this while you can.

Weird. Seems like a bug with the Horseman's mount allowing you to double mount the jousting mount. Or maybe there is a trick to it.

It would be nice to see a guide on that.

Also, if the mount-on-a-mount trick is doable with any mount, it would be interesting to see what happens when someone on a mammoth or chopper with passengers mounts a tournament mount.

Nope, only doable on HH mount. You can mount while in chopper, mammoth, uldua vehicles etc

Ha nice been doing the orge one since it started, wonder if the blizzcon mount will work to since that could double mount on the mammoths

You can also /dance on the mounts.

Funny thing is, you won't stop dancing until you dismount :P
