Mining and Herbalism are professions. Lock Picking is a class skill. Comparing it to those 2 professions means nothing. If I group clears to a chest, then everyone has used their CLASS SKILLS to make it available. If a rogue doesn't pick the damn lock, he's about as valuable as a warrior that doesn't taunt, or a healer that doesn't heal... and yes....Originally Posted by nordh

As mentioned preivously already, comparing it to a mage charging for food/water is a MUCH more accurate comparison. You'd have to be pretty damn selfish to do either.
