i did this strat except it was with the haunted mementos when they were cheap... eventually i got annoyed mailing and got my own guild bank. I just did the same thing with the candles too before you posted :P

There's a way to get around the no mailbox in Moonglade problem. Just buy and sell a bunch of the candles in Moonglade, with the purpose being that they get stored in your buyback menu. Then FLY to the nearest place with a mailbox. If you hearth, the buyback menu will be reset and you'll lose everything you sold. After you get into town, just go to a vendor, and voila! Your items are right where you left them. Of course, you will still need to take them out on at a time.

Note not sure if this should go in guide section, or exploit section, part of this is using an exploit about the mail system. (Warning wall of text, feel free to skip to buttom for summary)

Okay so here is something i though off. There is an item you can buy from the lunar festival for only a few silver called Elune's Candle, well what this item does is shoot off fireworks at your target. It has 88 charges and IS unique, so you can't carry more then one with you.

Now what your thinking is what is the exploit?

Well this item is unique, but you can buy one, then mail it to a bank alt, go back and buy another one, and keep mailing it to the same bank alt. Even though it is unique if you leave it in the mail you can have as many as you want, just every 29 days hit return and send them back to your main, and then return again back to your bank alt, so you can keep them indefinitely.

The way to make gold from this is, after the festival people will want to buy these, just like an other holiday item you can only get once a year, but this one is different because you are only suppose to be able to get one at a time (presumably so you can't stock up on them and make money (but you can)).

Recap for those of you who hate walls of text:

• Go to moonglade during lunar festival
• buy elune candle
• mail elune candle to alt
• rinse and repeat, and profit after holiday ends.
• (The exploit is that the candle is unique and it is proably not intented to be able to buy and keep more then one).

You can still put it on AH, most people don't know about it can't be used anyway.
Like coins from Dalaran fountain, it doesn't count toward achievement if you bought it, you can get the achievement only if you're the one who fish it, but I'm still be able to sold many of them on AH because many people don't know about that.
