Does anyone know if a Mage's Slow would work as well?

TBH Im not sure. We had a mage throw slow on her last night, and it says it does effect her, but Ive never tried the hurricane so Im not 100% sure its the same effect. I *think* it slowed her breath, but there was a lot of chaos (yay new people) so Im not positive.

** Reading the tooltips for Hurricane and Slow, it makes sense that the breath cast went from 2 sec to 3 sec. However, the slow is for ranged attacks, and the hurricane includes melee attacks. So from reading it seems as though the mage can indeed slow the breaths, but not the attacks **

Slows haven't worked on bosses ever, even in vanilla wow. This is almost certainly unintended.

We did naxxramas with gibbed healers last nite, and after wiping twice at patchwerk, we tried to hurricane him. We still wiped, but it was by far our best try, and healing went much smoother in despite of the fact that it was a resto druid channeling hurricane...

Dunno if we just had a good try, or if it was hurricane doing the job, but seems like there may be something here...
