A nice little way to gain Sons of Hodir rep

Has anyone done this to exalted then turned in the Forging an alliance quest?
Curious if it will reset you back to friendly or whatever you're meant to start them with?

This is still working on US servers. I farmed up to Revered before getting tired and moving on. The 7.5 gold per quest is pretty nice too

Also fyi, you can complete all of the Honored and Revered quests without ever handing in Forging an alliance. What you CANNOT do is the scrap iron gathering daily since the hot metel does not show up untill you complete this step of the chain.

If you don't delete the forging alliance quest before getting back to dun niffelem you can pick up the daily from the anvil, do the daily, turn it in and then delete the forging alliance quest and continue.

I think this is hotfixed, at 6:45 pm EST on US server, I cannot get credit for Battling the Elements quest.

I'm sad to report that this has been fixed in 3.0.8

The XP reward has been reduced to 75 down from 250. It's hardly worth flying back and forth now that Relics of Ulduar can be turned in for 250 rep per stack of 15.

It was a great exploit while it lasted. Thanks to the OP!

how does this prevent it from still being useful? even if you get less gold its still an infinitely repeatable quest for rep, no? lazy people (like me) will still enjoy it
