So tonight we were in VH H and we wiped trying to get the achievement Void zone, While clearing back through trash to finish it off, we had to face the first boss again Ichoron, We were killing him as normal expecting no badges/loot/etc. As the small elemental s started to converge the Death knights put down their Anti-Magic Shield and it started to disperse his ability to rejoin, i assume bugging him and making him drop loot, Badges, Shards and Rep multiple times. After seeing this, i threw up a port and we came back in and it worked again.

I ver much doubt that it was related to anti magic shield, anti magic shield has no effect on mobs, its just a buff on group members.

Perhaps it's related to that particular boss, or something else you did.

Edit: Wait, did you get 2 lots of badges and rep from 1 kill?

Yes we did. We did it about 3-4 more times, and for some reason Anti magic shield was doing that, as you can clearly see in the screenshot, it is giving multiple reputation gains, items and badges.

In that screenshot, I dont see multiple items or badges (not more than 1 pr. person) from that loot?

Loot is right above, but you can see where i am gaining rep x2 after he yells I recede, i gain rep, Then he yells it again and i gain rep. Meh, w/e works for me and my grp. Cleared the zone maybe try it again later today if we get the boss again, but it works.

This does happen, did it a couple of weeks back with my group. We wiped on the second boss so had to restart the portals. Instead of Ichoron spawning we got a normal elemental, then once he started spliiting, a corpse of Ichoron appeared repeatedly but we had to loot our extra loot and badges fast as it would disappear every few seconds. Made about 5 badges from that kill even though we had already had his badge and loot before. So, so broken, not entirely sure what causes it though.

This was probably never noticed because you have to be terrible to wipe in this instance.
