Trying to level this way is a HUGE waste of time. The experience reward for each kill is capped, and you can't gather and kill the mobs fast enough to really see a significant change in experience gain. Not to mention the never-ending one-shotters from members of the opposing faction

Wrong, quite blatantly. Yes, exp per kill is capped, but would you rather go kill boars for 20 exp or get the exp cap for every kill? Can't gather mobs? Get in a catapult use the flamethrower, you can easily amass a half dozen mobs and drop them in seconds. Lastly, if you're getting 1 shotted in a catapult with 35k hp, I want that hack.

I think people posting things like "Not working! Only XP at level ! Fail!" simply don't get the drift:

If you're thinking the 5k XP go for every level, you just didn't think about it long enough. No matter what Mob you kill (or get killed by a high-lvl friend) in the game will give you more XP than your cap at that actual level allows to. But that doesn't matter, because compared to the XP needed to reach the next level ist's a percantage value. So let's say 1.000 Boars at Lvl 6 will grant you one level, as 1.000 Nagrand-Ogres will at Level 66 (just random numbers).

The exploit here is, that in Durotar or Elwynn, you just don't find these catapults standing around, easy to use, and be almost unkillable by the 1.000 Boars you need to kill. OK?

In a few words: Great exploit to use a siege-vehicle to do the dirty work for you. Debatable if there aren't faster ways to level up, but still a nice find nevertheless, because you never had it that easy to grind mobs (other siege-vehicle exploits excluded).
