Okay, I read this initially and thought it was a great idea. After trying it quite a few times on both sides, (offensive and defensive); I saw it not worth doing for gaining experience levels, but better used for gaining honor at lower levels.

I'll go over how it works exactly if you wish to farm honor points, or experience.

HONOR FARMING

FACTION is on the OFFENSIVE (This can be done quite easily at ANY level)

1. Get a portal to Dalaran
2. Enter Wintergrasp
3. DO NOT JOIN A PARTY OR RAID GROUP
4. Get on a GUN in a TOWER on one of the OUTER WALLS and KILL ENEMIES until the battle is over

• NOTE: IF the enemy breaks through the walls, or your GUN gets DESTROYED: Get on another GUN, or go get a SIEGE ENGINE and KILL ENEMIES until the battle is over

FACTION is on the DEFENSIVE

• NOTE: This is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to NEAR IMPOSSIBLE if you are doing it solo AT LOWER LEVELS, without a MOUNT. You will get killed over and over again from the NPC mobs in the area because of your character's high aggro range. I ran a few instances of this where I didn't even get a single honor kill because I kept dying from the wandering elementals. This isn't even considerable solo if you are level 1-29, UNLESS you have a level 70-80 friend to assist you. And even then, the experience gain isn't that great, (you would get experience faster by having your level 80 friend AoE an instance for you). That being said, here is how to do it whether you have a mount or not; I do not recommend this either way.

1. Get a portal to Dalaran
2. Enter Wintergrasp
3. Join a PARTY or RAID GROUP (preferably a raid group)
4. Stay as far away as possible from any type of NPC mob
5. Follow your RAID GROUP around killing enemies until you get Corporal Rank or; if you want a bigger siege engine, First Lieutenant Rank. Again, this step is NEAR IMPOSSIBLE without a mount of some sort; and even then, it is VERY DIFFICULT.
6. Kill yourself, then LEAVE your raid group
7. Get a SIEGE ENGINE and KILL ENEMIES until the battle is over

EXPERIENCE GRINDING

FACTION is on the OFFENSIVE

1. Follow the steps listed in the HONOR FARMING guide above for the OFFENSIVE side. Instead of continuing to kill enemy players, grab a siege engine as soon as you can and drive around the zone killing monsters

FACTION is on the DEFENSIVE (This is NOT RECOMMENDED at LOW LEVELS. With or without a mount, the aggro range is simply too great and YOU WILL DIE).

1. Follow the steps in the HONOR FARMING guide for the DEFENSIVE side. Instead of killing players of the opposing faction, drive around and kill the NPC elementals that wander all over the zone

Conclusion:

This is an EXCELLENT way to get Honor Points at the lower levels. I was averaging 1500-3200 Honor Points per run. As long as your faction is on the DEFENSIVE, it's absolute cake.

Trying to level this way is a HUGE waste of time. The experience reward for each kill is capped, and you can't gather and kill the mobs fast enough to really see a significant change in experience gain. Not to mention the never-ending one-shotters from members of the opposing faction

BOTTOM LINE - THERE ARE MANY FASTER WAYS TO POWER-LEVEL AND FARM GOLD, BUT THIS SEEMS TO BE THE BEST WAY TO OBTAIN HONOR POINTS THAT I HAVE SEEN SO FAR AT ANY LEVEL.

Honor Farming At wintergrasp works like a charm at any level i was getting aroud 4k honor as level 60 by winning games i just joined raid and minded my own bussines

I take no credit for my previous post. People were asking about it, and I looked into and confirmed exactly how it works for them. Sometimes it's easier for people to make things like this work when it's in step-by-step form. Either way, your original post was awesome and I use your method almost every day.

im level 80 so im not 100% sure but i think killing mobs in siege vehicles gives no exp. the gold from this isnt as good as even basic aoe farming. the honor is good for low level characters but low level characters dont need honor. all this will realy do is give the oposition the imbalance buff
