with the new patch the IF boss would have like 300 million health
and you would need tons of hit rating to even hit the guards/IF boss
and you would also need a full/half full raid to even down him. Why do you
think its so hard to get the black bear mount or some crap if all the bosses were
soloable at this point?

Tried it not 5 minutes ago on my 70 enh shammy, Kara/ZA gear, DW Vanir's
guards are take-able at 70 yes, i only had to use shamanistic rage to kill them, which is good for a 75 hehe
the problem is, when you pull the gnome boss, he spawns a guard,
very tough to solo atm, i can see a prot pally or war doing it, but the less fortunate of us will need a friend
gave up after i realised he definitly spawns a guard but will try with a mate later
confirmed 152k hp

Edit: Shocks and WF pretty much killed the guard, its just holding out long enough to get the crits lol
Lava lash and SS did a bit of work, was hitting round 100 white dmg, dogs were hitting for round 100

It's really not a problem as a prot warrior if you have decent gear :P

High Tinkerer Mekkatorque isn't part of the requirement for the achievement. The leader of the dwarves, King Magni Bronzebeard, is (obviously not soloable). The High Tinkerer is the equivelance of Vol'jin really..he's a boss, but not a faction leader, so he isn't going to be all that tough.

Regardless, you're still going to have to manage to kill him 1000 times for that 10k loot title, assuming he drops 100g each time. I don't feel like doing t math to add up how long that would take, excluding the time Alliance kill you and travel time.

I know this sounds completely retarded, but I've had friends get 3 hour suspensions for farming him. It's completely stupid, considering I've done it myself and have never gotten a single suspension. If I didn't know the guy in RL for so long I would have said he was full of it.
