Gathering Profession level reqs 3.0.3

Before you guys cry "NOT AN EXPLOIT", technically this isn't, but this isn't common knowledge as it's new and needs to be known.


All gathering professions had the level requirements removed.

So now you can have twinks and really low level characters with Lifeblood Rank 5 (375 Herbalism) as well as Lifeblood Rank 6 (450 Herbalism) when WotLK is released.


375 Herbalism
Lifeblood Rank 5
Uses your skill in Herbalism to absorb energy and nutrients from the earth, healing you for 1200 over 5 sec.

450 Herbalism
Lifeblood Rank 6
Uses your skill in Herbalism to absorb energy and nutrients from the earth, healing you for 2000 over 5 sec.

Yes, that's the point of this post, it was removed this morning with 3.0.3


A 2000 hot over 5 sec for a lvl 19 is over powered. Hell, it's even over powered at lvl 40 lol

I didn't know this, wow, time to do a search on crafted things with no level requirement.

Please keep in mind this is for gathering not crafting. What you gain is the special ability's that are given to you for maxing out the skill.

I assume this means fishing as well but I haven't been able to confirm it.
