[Exploit] Old Crafty from Orgrimmar, .1% chance into 30% chance

I left my fishbot running over night, started with nothing but a hearthstone, I filled my bag and still have no Old Crafty. This is definately faster, easier and sneakier =)

The first thing I would ask is this... did you make sure that it would pick up old crafty ?
Don't forget its a BoP Item, and as such you need to confirm picking it up when you take it, and its something easily overlooked on a fishing bot, as there are only 6 fish I can think of which are BoP (Crafty, Ironjaw, and the 4 for the fishing event)

Confirmed here, but I wouldn't say 30% haha --- It took me about 15 casts and destroying the croc 3 times before I got him. I have to say excellent find! I had already hit my 1000 fishing achievement trying to get old crafty at this point and then BAM, 15 casts... Brilliant

It is definately around 30%, you need to delete the croc every time you catch it or it wont get Old Crafty =)

If you destroyed the croc 3 times in 15 casts then thats 12 times you could have gotten him but didnt do the trick right =)

You have to be fishing in Orgrimmar, I was told you needed 400+ fishing for him, but I am not sure for this trick. So I just left that in. Are you fishing in the water at the Valley of Hero's? Are you in a raid group during it? Anything you can give us will definately help us, help you =)

Not entirely sure, but as the fishbot uses autoloot, it asks if you wish to loot this item, as in old crafty or ironjaw, since they are green and BoP. The fishbot ignores this, and then just recasts the lure, disregading the actual loot.

Manual would be good one for this one rather than a bot in that case if this is true.

Got mine from Valley of Spirits, 2nd cast.

+rep for saving me HUGE PAIN, seriously, fishing this bad boy seemed like an impossible task.

Also, luckily I also got Ironjaw in just 38 casts... lucky as hell

This completely worked for me. On my 4-5 cast, this can NOT be a coincidence.

If it says "You can not loot this item now", DELETE THE CROC AGAIN and try to pick up Old Crafty again.

I wouldn't trust using the fishbot on this, just do it yourself it is fast.
