    it's because trees are elementals (warlocks can banish trees)

    Trees are also pretty well immune to mobs that Mind Control them because the mob isn't scripted to heal with a tree...

    Yeah, one time in TK a long time ago, one of the mind control mobs controlled a Warlock, and while mind controlled he banished our resto druid in tree form. It was funny..the banish lasted for the full duration (as oposed to the 10 second PvP limiter).
