Broom Glitch - Dismount but still have speed [Working]

haha, just tried this. It worked great. Also I tried using Typhoon while using this glitch. Doesn't trigger a cooldown on the Typhoon, but doesn't do any damage or knock back. Fun to use for the effect though..lemme test if other people see it.

Edit: Nope, people don't see the Typhoon (but they do see me not on the broom, running at high speeds). Still fun though!

Is there any advantage to this beyond looking like you can run really fast? It does work, and I messed around with it in WSG/AV last night, but it basically takes you several extra seconds to do what a mount can normally do. Ya can't go inside with it, cast, or grab the WSG flag.

I guess one sort of useful thing was using it to run through the field of strife in AV. I must have had 6 horde thinking they could easily catch up to me for an easy kill since I was apparently unmounted. They were wrong.

You aren't actually dismounted. You just look like you are.

Client Side: Only the user can see it.


Server Side: The good one. You won't attack or cast spells while "not showing" your mount or you will dismount.

Swimming animation when flying, run when mounting on ground. Nice find.

Client side not only user but other people can see it as well...I've confirmed this as well as many others

It seems to me that the other players need to be in proximity of you when you use the macro twice to be able to see you flying.
Otherwise, it shows you on a broom.

Tested with my mate on Dreadmaul-US.
