thought you may wnat to know: if a character that elads a guild is deleted, or kicked while noone is withing two ranks below him guild becomes leaderless, noone can edit tabard, noone can change rank priveleges, rank names, and chances are that mroe tahan two lvls down there wont be a GMOD changer ect. bad idea to lose a gM)

This does work... Heres how I used it.

Story: I was in a great guild, I was a guild officer but the GM was one hell of a A-hole. He logged off, I removed him. Then I kick everyone in the guild then leave. He loggs back in and goes "WTF?! Where the Flying Piggin F**k is my guild?" I put him on ignore. 1 guild down... I feel happy now.. Happy like I just pissed my pants and everyone can see it.

Just tried it yesterday on my guild's GM, a friend of mine as a prank. By using

/gremove (player name goes here)

it will say "That players rank is too high". However if that person logs on he will no longer be in a guild even though it says he is still in the guild on your screen. This causes many bugs, as a new GM is not designated. Also if you try to reinvite the person it won't add them into the guild immediately. You need to reinvite them and then they have to gquit and then you reinvite them once more putting them at the lowest rank. In order to get a GM for the guild you have to put up a ticket requesting that a GM be designated for your guild which took me about 2 hours to get a response . Just wanted to post some more information on this matter as it doesn't seem crystal clear in the first post.

i agree. I did PM you. and i agree, happenned to me when i tried to take oevr a rival guild. messed up my second guild i lead by accident. but tehir GM had no alts and there was noone within two ranks of GM at the time. so guess what, they ahd to remake and lost over 120 members.
