Insane attack speed
First off I'd like to say that this is posted in the exploit section because I am damn sure blizzard does not want this to happen... so flamers, go take a chill pill, and no I did not steal this idea from Vig, its more detailed and adds more info.

Set up:
First off you need 5 people.
First person - You (Works better as a prot pally or rogue.)
Second person - Warlock
Third person - Warlock
Fourth person - Shaman
Fifth person - Other.

~All must be atleast 60+~

How
Ok first of all you and one of the two warlocks go here -

The other warlock, Shaman, and other, go where ever you want, You can try to 5man doomwalker, kazzak, or even the elites in Ogri'la for a large prismatic, This part is your choice.

1. You and the warlock go inside the mines, have the warlock Enslave a Maiden of Pain ( Creature: Maiden of Pain - Thottbot: World of Warcraft ), Have the warlock make the Maiden of Pain cast Whipped Frenzy ( Whipped Frenzy - Thottbot: World of Warcraft ) on you. This stacks! The more Maiden of Pains there are, the faster you get!!

2. Have the second warlock and two assistors (the shaman and one other) summon you to wherever you choose (raid boss ect.)

3. Have the Shaman drop a Windfury totem, and pop heroism.

4. If you are a Paladin, Use Seal of Crusader, eventually reckoning will pop too if you are prot. Which will proc allot because you will be hitting VERY fast.
If you are a rogue, use Slice and Dice, and Blade fury.

5. Use a haste potion ( Haste Potion - Thottbot: World of Warcraft ).

Tips/ Ideas
If you want to attack uber fast, use a faster weapon *duh...* Such as a 1.6 speed dagger, or a 2.2 speed 2 hand.

Find other spell you can think of that increase your haste that I may have forgotten to post.

Edit - Thottbot says that Maiden of Pain is also found at Forge Camp:Rage. If you get another warlock to summon you there you can get even more Whipped Frenzy buffs!

Read the first thing I said... Do you think blizzard wants people to be running arround with 500% haste? I do not.

They prolly don't care, it's not gonna last that long, and if you find a low level weapon with fast attack speed, and you attack 0.00 speed it doesn't reallyt hit ZOMFG fast, Swifty the warrior had a .08 attack speed. It hit like every1/3 a second, but HE had a good weapon, so it was usefull.
This you have only for a period of time.

And this lasts 5 minutes, if you swing 5 times per hit, doing 600 dmg per hit with whites, thats 2.4k dps, and however many times you swing per hit is limitless if you do another meathod I will post soon. (I g2g atm lol, Ill bring my psp to check comments but cant post)

And this IS and exploit indeed. The mob is meant to cast this on the other mobs around.. so you trick them to think u are the mobs.. Voila.. Works like a evil charm :P

I liked how you linked things,this post belongs in the guides section but I can see how some could see it as an exploit.
