There is so much incorrect information in this thread, it's not even funny.

Here are the essentials:

A. This isn't a perma ban on the first try necessarily.
B. Even if you do get a perma ban with it, the original owner can still get the account back by emailing Account Administration.

Will give you a 72-hour suspension most probably. Also I want to ask the poster that said that the banwave caught all the accounts without a warning, wasn't that the whole point of the drill? But Blizzard ain't stupid, they know we know (that they know, that we know... :P ) about this and will probably use it...

P.S. And even if you manage somehow to get an account banned, this is in no way permaban, as there are so many flags that this wasn't done by the original owner, that he will get his account in no time.
