FAIL no rep for u
Good job, nice one too.
Has anyone tried this and gotten banned instantly yet?
Also, do you get a 72 hour suspension, or might you also be able to get a perm ban even on the first warning?
+rep though![]()
Blizzard can track your and your targets Ip adress and can tell the difference.
agree but it will give your 'enemy' some grief for a few hours/days.
If the Original Owner attempts to Email Blizzard saying it wasnt them Blizz can easy check it because they noticed a different IP on it.
What if this person isn't the original owner? What can he do then?
Tried this for several hours now running around in the circle at the Battlemasters. Nothing happened yet. Any tips?
It's a valid point; with the amount of account theft going on Blizzard aren't exactly strangers to suddenly seeing an account log in from a completely different IP range with cheats active. There's a very good chance the account owner will get the situation sorted out, potentially risking other accounts that used the IP the hack was detected on.
It will certainly cause hassles for the account owner though.
Interesting, I may use this.
If it's a glider, there's a VERY good chance that Blizzard may thing you've bought powerleveling, and therefore will not restore your account.
