First, you got like a 0.1 sec gab so you better hope for some luck for lag to make you able to cast it. Also who dies of a PoM these days? If you do arena you got health enough for like 4x Pyroblasts... You can't really kill, but do a little damage you could. The aura also heals you up (ticks) so yeah.. :P

I know, my partner has her shoulders from last season, my pyro would only do a 3k noncrit. Then again, if you feel that the teammate you picked up is a tad undergeared ---

Play the Arena Dressing game. You and your partner both enter the queue naked and see who can put on all their stuff without mods or macros. Your teammate gets into it and BAM.
