Get 35+ enchants on your 29 twink today!

Not sure if many know about this but i just want to contribute and help out some people who want a kickass 29 twink with 35+ enchants!


1. You all know that 35+ enchants can ONLY be cast on level 35 items correct?

Wrong.

If you are about 28 or 29 you can go to STV or where ever there are quests for a 33+ zone with a level 70 and do some quests and get the rewards.

The items aren't level 35 (no level requirement) BUT! they are level 35+ quality items that can be enchanted on with a 35+ enchant.

Example.

A 29 twink priest would want "Skull Breaker' http://thottbot(dot)com/i17039

Although it is green it can have a 35+ enchant (IE Major healing : http://thottbot(dot)com/s34010 )on it because the item level is 36

Yeah this is pretty common sense if you're gonna twink a char. And it's item level 35+ that matters for TBC enchants iirc.

And lulz, who uses thottbot these days?

I prefer Wowhead: Preventing wipes since 2006.. Much much better in my opinion.

Hate to say it, but this isn't an exploit. Where the tooltip says "items level 35 or above" they're not saying it's items with a level 35 requirement to use, it's simply items that have an iLevel of 35 or higher.

If you look up items on Wowhead (for example, I searched maces:

mace - Wowhead Search

The column that is called "Level" is the item level (iLevel) and the column called "Req." is the required level to use the item (if it has one). Even items like these:

Simple Black Dress - Item - World of Warcraft
Tuxedo Pants - Item - World of Warcraft

Have an iLevel of over 35.

So what you're saying is right, but it's old news, and not actually an exploit

thottbot is filled with useless stuff that doesn't work ^^ nice find, didn't actually know it yet.. as i dont like twinks :P
