Get a 40 armor leg kit on your 19 twink

Credit to Duckhunt for figuring out this one, but it hasnt been posted here yet:

It's pretty easy to do

1) Have a level 40+ character run you through either WC or DM for your pants. Leggings of the Fang - Item - World of Warcraft or Smelting Pants - Item - World of Warcraft
2) Once the pants drops, let the level 40+ toon need the pants.
3) Open trade with the 40+ toon.
4) Have them apply the kit. They should get a little window saying, "Enchanting this item will make it soul bound", hit okay.
5) As the kit is being applied, click drop the pants that are being enchanted to the trade window. If you did it correctly, it should glow green showing that there is an enchant being applied.
6) Complete trade.
7) ???

40 Armor? That's really not much use. Unless it works with the other legkits too. In that case 75+ Ap would be brilliant on it.

It doesn't. It only works for the 40 armor. 40 armor will work on any BoE item, no questions asked, as long as a lvl 40+ applies it. But for BoP, yes, this is the only way to do it.

Its not a HUGE upgrade, but for a twink who is trying to max every stat possible, this is the only way to be BiS.

Its also definitely an "exploit" regardless of how much of an upgrade it gives, so I figured this would be the place to post it =)

A question, isn't 19 twinking dead? Is it even fun? Isn't 29 more enjoyable? : P Rogue/Warrior. Going to test this by the way with higher level attachments.

19 twinking is alive and kicking in the ruin US bg. Yes, I find 29s to be much more fun, but 29 twinking is dieing off, since most of their players went to 39s.

Also, I'll save you the time, it doesnt work with the higher lvl kits.

Yes it is, Lv60 T3 twinks are where it's at now (to be honest though, if you twink a 70 arcane mage you will rape so much more).

Once upon a time people were able to bring their level 60 alts into the level 60 version of Naxxramas and have level 70 players destroy the instance.

and you do realise the enchant itself has a level limit, it wont use the enchant if the charater itself is not of level.

It will automaticly get soulbound when attaching any enchant or something in that way on it.
