Only problem with this is other people cant see you go anywhere with this artifial "lag", and as soon as you end this lag somehow, you'll Probally get d/c'ed and return to where you we're when you started the lag.

This would obviously be only clientsided, since you limit your upload which basically is the same as client->server->other players' clients. And yeah, think it's already been mentioned earlier in this thread that the server will hold your coordinates at the spot you started the lag at, and after you disconnect, you will be 'teleported' there. Other people will see you spinning / walking forward without actually moving (moonwalking) for the whole duration you use the lag for.

So i'd say neat trick but I won't +rep for client sided shit. Oh, and this can't really be used for nothing else than exploring terrain, mobs and objects won't spawn while you lag.

Alot easier way to fly in azeroth is to download Demonkunga's tools package and use MPQ file there. Anyway, it would be cool to fly in azeroth with flying mount
