There isn't a lot WoW specific. The emulators were written by people doing it as a hobbie. There's no official documentation or guides. For this one you just need to dive in the deep end and start trying to do stuff. If your programming knowledge is okay then you likely won't even need to know C++ in depth, all OOP languages follow the same principles.
