wodcore cannot login

Hello,

excuse me if the following is a dumb question, but i am pretty new to wow emulating. My problem is that i have set up wodcore (mysql, bnetserver and worldserver seem to be operating), but when i start the client it says "Too many login attempts, try again in a few minutes". Tried to login with the default login data given in the "default account" text file.

Heres what I have done so far from scratch

- downloaded repack
- downloaded client
- extracted repack to my c harddrive
- extracted client into the client folder
- downloaded dbc, maps, mmaps and vmaps filed from the source given in the "Extras" folder
- used mapextractor, mmapsgenerator, vmap4assembler, vmap4extractor on downloaded files
- put dbc, maps and vmaps in the core folder
- put maps, mmaps, vmaps in the client folder
- startet database with the mysqlstarter.exe inside the database folder
- startet bnetserver from the core folder
- startet worldserver from core folder
- startet client from client folder
- in the login screen tried to enter the login/password
- got the aforementioned error

What I've tried so far:
- cleaning the wtf and cache from client folder
- second default login from default account file
- create another account and corresponding bnet account from worldserver (didn't work right away, and also not after restarting the whole system)
- deleted client folder and extracted again from source file
- patched the .exe files in client folder again (as shown in the youtube video given in the textfile "#114 Error" in the wodcore client folder
- searched this forum if this problem has already been answered. didn't find anything, Newbie problem on my side or i am being completely blind. If so sorry

I really hope someone can help me with this. If logfiles are needed tell me which and i will be happy to supply them.

Update 1:
Seems like i have the wrong client. The address given in the client folder stated that the file is no longer available. Thats why i downloaded the client directly from the wodcore site. But that client seems trying to connect to an wodcore public online server. So I'll have to wait until the repack client is up again, or try to set the client manually. Since i have time today i will try the latter. Already hear people saying yeah good luck with that noob

Update 2:
Okay, i'm in. Had to open the "config.wtf" in the clients "wtf" folder and set the first line to my local host:

SET portal "127.0.0.1"

and delete the Line

SET realmname "Wodcore-(US)"

I guess that renders my previous problems obsolete, it's done, case closed. Thanks for listening
