Is there a way to join a guild without being invited (let yourself in guild)?

So a friend of mine recently came back to play, however, he isn't able to remember his log information, I tried to figure out his log in for him, but I've failed.
I discovered his guild in the armory, and I thought, if I could get into the dead guild somehow and re-invite my friend's new toon.

Is this even possible? Plus I was surprised his guild hasn't been deleted yet. He told me he did set permissions for anyone, any rank to invite people, so I was going to invite him if this method was even possible.


Also this is a Cata Private Server, it is 4.3.4. GM told me that if my friend wants to get back his guild, he will have to remember his information, in addition, the GM said that if my friend is able to regain his account and guild, he has the possibility to dethrone is old toon for his new one if he wanted.

No, the only way to join a guild is get invited. But what's stopping him from calling Blizzard to reclaim his account?

Probably because this is the emulator section of the forum and the account isn't on blizzard's servers. :P

The funny thing about my friend is he makes his account names and password so complex, that it is difficult to remember.

His password for his windows 7 computer is literally 27 characters long, hell he told me the password and I even forget it, he forgets it too, but thanks to software he clears and makes an even more complex password :L.

He is account paranoid that is why lol and this led him to forget his old account, he logged into it about 1.5 years ago and obviously, the software we have isn't able to reset a password on a private server for an account.

Ironically having a windows password is almost entirely pointless, it only stops the non tech savvy. You can very easily get a cd to boot with that will completely bypass a windows login password. You can also just boot to a linux live cd and view the files in the windows drive anyways.

Well he has cd to do this, but only uses it if he forgets his password or if someone asks him to fix their computer lol.

But what I wanna know is how to invite yourself into a guild without being invited, like party crash a guild sort of way.
I have a reason to do this if it is possible, and it is to salvage my friend's guild by inviting him back into his old toon's guild.

This is on WoW 4.3.4 Cata by the way.

That seems impossible, but I could be wrong. If you can exploit your own guild charter without visiting an NPC, than this should be possible.

Well a Yes with information or a No would be nice, the guild may get deleted in a matter of 2-3 months :L
Plus it would be good for those who are locked out of their own guild due to some reason on Molten or any 4.3.4 Cata server.

If there is a solution, I'd rather have someone PM me this instead of posting here, unless someone wants to use this information to get into their own guild they had ownership too.

So I am guessing that this is impossible then? My friend's guild is on the brim of destruction by cleanup lol.
