need help with custom items

hey everyone!

toaday i need some exelent minds to help me with a huge project of mine....

here is my question: i want to make a toatally new item for my server, but i dont want to use any blizzard stuff... i want to make my own armor that has no display id of blizzard or anything, so in other words i want to make my own armor from scratch .... i realize this will be hard but a great server will deserve great work so im willing to try this!

if there is anyone out there who knows about this please let me know, i am very hopefull that someone has the know-how on something like this.. ill MAJOR rep anyone with usefull info on this

Not to go hard on you. But this will require this:

* DBC editing
* Custom Patch Editing/Creating
* Custom Model Editing
* All player who wanna see your custom armor would need the custom patch.

the biggest problem you will encounter is that you won't be able to use skills that require custom weapons. you should do DBC edit as mentioned above. I've tried it so many times, some days I spent 5-6 hours to figure it out, but never worked me. GL if you wanna do it, but only start it if you are extremely dedicated. I think it's the hardest thing in emulation beside creating new spells. srsly, GL

This is a model editing thing, not an emulation thing. Go to the Model editing forum on here. Look around for guides on making custom armor.
