Custom travel form(new spell) ?

Hello Again! I am making a new race for my server and this race should have a flying form, but cant seems to understand how to do this. I know I have to create a new spell, but it seems you need to go deeper than just MySQL. Could someone link/create a tutorial how to do this. Making a new spell or travel form-tutorial!

Don't think I have seen a guide to making custom spells. (Probably should write one). But for custom spells you need to edit your "spell.dbc". As for a new form, you may be fine with just "spell.dbc". However you may have to edit spell effects in the core, haven't actually tried it myself.

Now where is this spell.dbc located and how to open it. I have forgot everything and I just put up my own compiled server so... If it's easier to guide me, I could just change the model of druid travel form spell to something else? Also I was wondering is it possible to perhaps choose not only a creature form but something else. like a sparkle or smoke? In WMV there are plenty of animated spells and effects...

"spell.dbc" is located in your server folder in the dbc folder. As I said, I really haven't tried to do anything with custom forms myself, so I'd suggest start with other dbc editing guides first. Get used to dbc's before editing more. "Spell.dbc" is one of the largest ones there is.

If it has a modelID it should work.
