I'm trying to set up two servers, I'm running an RP server at the moment and a good handful of the population wanted an RPPVP server, while some didn't. So I figure, hey I have two computers capable of actually running TrinityCore so why not.
My main comp is Windows 7 Home Edition 64 bit operating system.
Other comp is Windows XP Professional 32 bit operating system.
Both are running MYSQL Community Server 5.1.56
Unfortunately I can't do port forwarding on both computers for my router, I tried setting up separate databases on each machine, I could not however connect to the secondary server from my developer machine. So I decided I'd make all the databases on the main machine, I put the entries in for both servers and used the same external IP address in the address field, I can connect to both servers, but anything I do on one, reflects on the other, so I went to the realmlist and noticed that the number of characters was only showing for the main server, which didn't make sense to me because:
My first server was using the databases realm, charactertrin, and worldtrin, the secondary server was using realm, characterancients, worldancients.
I did some further investigating only to realize everything was registering on the core of my main machine, and the other one, while connected to the database, was not receiving any information from my client.
The main machine is using the realm ID 1, the secondary is using 2
I can't quite figure out what I'm doing wrong unfortunately, perhaps someone can give me a hand?
