WoW as a secret meeting place?

Hello there.

Recently I have used a basic blizzlike wow server to discuss things with people. This is stuff that "other people should not know of".

Is this safe? In modern times the police, FBI and hackers monitor your internet traffic on social services like MSN or Facebook. But who would think of monitoring the chat between a nightelf and a gnome on a private server hosted in your very own home? I have friends that use retail wow as a sosial meeting place where they are planning criminal activities, also there is those drugdealers wich you can reach by either spam call their cell of by just whisper them in-game..

How secure is this really? Is there any point?
I am just thinking, if there would be a massive bomb attack in the USA. Would it be safe for the bombers to plan the attack on a wow server?

No they can't track your messages through WoW (unless on retail and Blizzard hands over the chat logs).

And no they can't even through msn etc. There's too much communication for them to monitor.
