    "Apparent" Virus in ArcEmu core.

I've searched around and not found anyone else with this problem (so I'm assuming just my computer), so I'm asking for help with my computer rather then reporting a bug.

I've tried both SVN's, and for some reason 3.3.5a it is coming up with a trojan (TR/Agent.cdv in the temp folder, from memory at least). From both world.exe and during the process of building world.exe. However I never had this with my 3.1.3 core. Any ideas why i'm getting this and anyone else getting this?

    Also using, Avira AntiVirus.

Indeed ArcEmu is a big fat virus wanting to eat your computer, actually your AV is giving a false detection.

It is possible that the files are getting injected into when you download them / while you are downloading them. Either way it's you not ArcEmu I'm afraid, and viruses are not always easy to get rid of. :/

Hmm, I thought it might be a false detection by my Avira, so I did try ignoring it, but it still fails to build the core properly due to it. Meh, gonna just have to learn Trinity better then.

Thanks for the help guys. If you get any more info though, would love to hear it still ofcourse :P

Don't just ignore it. If it's detecting a virus, and ArcEmu won't compile that's a fair indication of a virus infecting critical files, as well as executables you run.

I would run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and Microsoft's Malicious Software Removal Tool.

I tried looking up the name of the virus on the net and anything similar and found nothing of the sort. I'm running the Microsoft one atm. Gonna have to wait and see.

usually with most of that stuff its the way the exe was packed if they use a packer for the exe thats suspicious its gonna come up like its a virus when its not just turn off your antivirus or use a different antivirus

Emulators do not distribute binary executables. You have to compile it yourself.

Ran both Anti-Mal and Microsot Remover tool, resulted in 5 infections. All gone now. Testing time again; downloading svn again.

Still not working. Same virus/error. Even tried another range of tools which cleared a bit more. Then again, still not working. It's finding a few within the core. Including even in an icon.ico file. All the same virus apparently. TR/Agent.cdv.

File searched and I don't have whatever that is. But interestingly, I tested out a repack, and again I got the same virus in the ArcEmu world.exe? So it's not my computer injecting my virus into the core during building. I am strongly starting to believe it is just my Anti-Virus being an over-protective fool.

I haven't had it with older ArcEmu versions (3.1.3 and under). Just this version, when you say used to, it might not be applicable to my situation.
