Gossip - Advanced Help Question

I was learning all about lua the last few weeks and i was wondering if it's possible for a gossip npc to ask for a password, and if it's correct, it will do a certain thing, cast/teach a spell, if at all possible, tell me how it's done, or where I can read about it, all this is so new, and exiteing, I want to learn anything Anyone can teach me, I will +rep

When adding a gossip menu this is the syntex:

pUnit:GossipMenuAddItem(button display, "message", intid, extra)

Now extra is set to 0 by default, but if you set it to 1 then it makes a message box pop up. Then on the on button click function you can check for the code:

if(intid == 246) then
    local code = string.lower(code) -- makes the message all lower case letters so we can check better
    if code == "message typed into box" then
    player:GossipComplete()
    end
end
end
