[Items] Strange Red ? Icon

I testing a 2.4.3 server right now (mangos)
and all custom item appear with a red ? icon inside the bag only.
equipped the icon is ok, on vendors too...

someone have an idea what cause this? or maybe how to fix it?
(and dont say "upgrade your server" plz i need some constructive idea or suggestions only.)

This isnt a odd bug. All you need to do is download the addon called "ArcCorrect" and all your players will need too to. This isnt something you can fix in the server side.

or you can edit item.dbc add your custom weapons there and your problem will be fixed.Why this is happening?Reason is simple.Client dont see custom items, the items that doesnt exist on retail.And client see it as red question mark.To fix this you can download that addon but best solution for you is to edit patch

The easier solution (For someone that hasn't much experience (The typical server owner now)) is to use the addon .

thanks 92eatos, but i think i prefer to use the Addon for now, but when our test will be completed (and if we keep this one) i'll know how fix this within a custom patch.

Yeah in start use addon cus with dbc editing you can **** up your wow and you dont want to reinstall it over and over again.But it could be very useful imagine creating your game by just using blizzard game engine and emulator but the rest is different

ArcCorrect never works for me...

I run a 3.2.2 Server & they are always red ?'s in my bag, but they're fine after equipping...
